All-India Media Premier League: Event will take place under strict bio secure bubble, assures OC chairman Gulshan Dwivedi

The Organising Committee (OC) of the All-India Media Premier League (AIMPL)-2022 met on Sunday at the KD Singh ‘Babu’ Stadium in Lucknow.

The meeting was held to discuss the roadmap for the upcoming event starting from January 7-9, 2022. It was decided that mega event will take place under strict bio secure bubble where no outsiders would be allowed to interact with the participating players.

The stay and food arrangements of all the teams from outside have been done at the VVIPs guest house of the Guru Gobind Singh Sports College and the matches would also be conducted at the cricket ground of the college, which falls within the college campus so no outside interaction of the players with anyone.

The guest house is being sanitized and the OC would follow the COVID-19 protocol strictly, like wearing of masks, social distancing and sanitization of hands.

Delhi, Kanpur and Allahabad teams are expected to come by road directly to the sports college, whereas Chandigarh would arrive vie train at Lucknow junction on January 7 at 8.30 IST from there would be taken directly to the sports college through a private transport.

“No one should worry about the Corona protocols as we are here to take care of everyone. As organizers we promise full entertainment to the participating teams as well as rich Lucknowavi food and hospitality,” assured OC chairman Gulshan Dwivedi.

The event is being sponsored by the Indian Oil as well as the Green Gas Limited.
